ABOUT DR BEECH-CLOETE AND DR LABUSCHAGNE
Dr’s Beech-Cloete and Labuschagne are both registered chiropractors MTech and MSc Chiropractic (UJ) (CASA) and are passionate about people and everything related to health.
Dr Michelle Beech is our dedicated paediatric and geriatric chiropractor and has dedicated her life to help children, adults and the elderly improve function and relieve pain, as well as to restore quality of life.
Dr Nicole Labuschagne is a Sports and Family Chiropractor who is passionate to help restore wholeness and wellness to patients again who have lost it – and of course to help improve quality of life and sports performance.
What is chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a western medical field, that chiropractors study 6+ years to become proficient in.
Doctors of Chiropractic are diagnosticians like a GP. They, however, do not treat with prescribed medications, but rather with their hands.
Treatment includes applying manual therapy to address pain and dysfunction in nerves, muscles, and joints. It includes aligning the spine to primarily off-load abnormal pressures that lead to pain and dysfunction.
It focuses on restoring mobility to spine and joints that have become dysfunctional, immobile, stiff, inflamed, and/or hindered.

Conditions Treated:
Dr Michelle Beech Cloete is our paediatric chiropractor who treats babies and children who suffer from: sub-optimal feeding e.g. latching problems, colicky symptoms, reflux, inconsolable crying, fussiness, milestone delays and learning difficulties.
Dr Nicole Labuschagne is our sports chiropractor who is your go-to doctor to visit in any sports or overuse injury or to help you with peak sports performance.
In the adolescent and adult population, all our practitioners treat patients with neck pain, back pain, lower back pain, headaches, scoliosis management, sports injury, overuse injury e.g. tennis elbow, shoulder conditions, hip conditions, knee conditions, foot pain e.g. plantar fasciitis.
Kyle Bahr and Ivanna Balanco are our sports massage therapist who co-manages cases with Dr’s on duty and are both currently completing their master’s degree in chiropractic to offer you that edge in anatomical and diagnostic knowledge.
CHIROPRACTIC CONSULTATION FEES
We are contracted in with Discovery Medical Aid and their underwriters.
This means that we can handle your Discovery claim for you if you have
available medical aid savings. Chiropractic consults will then be
charged at medical aid rates. If your medical aid savings is depleted,
or if you are on a hospital plan, kindly refer to cash rates.
MEDICAL AID
Contracted in with Discovery medical aid. Further, we operate as a cash practice. This means that you will personally claim back from your medical aid with the invoice and proof of payment we provide.
In South Africa, many of the medical schemes make provision for the reimbursement of chiropractic services.
The Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act provides for complete reimbursement of cases treated by registered chiropractors.
However, it also does depend on each person’s payment plan as to the extent to which they are covered.
